Jihoon Park

Jihoon Park

Jihoon Park received his M.S. and B.S. from Electrical Engineering of Sogang University at Seoul, Korea in 1998 and 1996, respectively. After graduation, he worked at the Mobile Communication Division of Samsung Electronics. As an engineer of Mobile Terminal R&D Team, he developed the software for cormercial cell phones based on WCDMA, IS-2000 and IS-95B. Since 2005, he has pursued his graduate career at University of California Los Angeles. With the knowledge and experiences that he has acquired through his industrial carrier and graduate training, he is researching a cross-layer design tool for the spectrum sensing of the cognitive radio.
